Apparently I’m in an enclave of soda-sayers inside of the largely normal pop-sayers state of Colorado. Densely populated metropolitan areas seem to say soda more often.

I have decided to stop calling these sweetened carbonated beverages

“pop” and begin calling them “soda”. This decision comes after several

years of living in Colorado where people kind of give you a look when

you order pop. I think I will like this new vocabulary, it’s almost

more dun to say soda. Soooduh. See?
