Feeling a little pain and nausea. She slept really well last night.

Getting all of the instructions. More paperwork too. Got a post op

debreif from one of the surgeons.

I’m in the waiting room still, but I have photos and an information

packet.

I just talked to Dr. Phillipon and he said everything went well, he

repaired a tear and did all of the other things they suspected would

need to be done. I’ll get to see her soon.

We’ve been very nervous all night, but it’s ok right now. We’ve done a lot of praying, and we feel very strongly that this surgery is the right thing to do in order to get Becca back up and moving around. It’s a little unreal still, we have moments of panic as the reality kinda hits home. Then we calm each-other down and try to relax.

Last night we had a very nice big meal at Outback, and then we stuffed ourselves again right before midnight becaus that was the cutoff time for eating before the surgery. Becca has been trying to stay well hydrated, and now we’ve reached the cutoff for no more fluids also.

The rest of the morning we’re just going to try to relax and also make sure everything is ready here for her return, which may be tomorrow morning. I’ll post little updates throughout the day today though.

Check-in time for us is 12:30pm tomorrow, and most likely Becca will be staying in recovery overnight. Today went pretty well, we think we know what’s going on. A little nervous, but excited also. Tonight we will have a big dinner, stay up late, and unpack stuff into the condo for the week. Thanks for your prayers everyone.
