A Friday afternoon doodle.
A Friday afternoon doodle.
I have a cold and can’t get to sleep. So I’m playing around with my
photos from the weekend. Simon is doing pretty good lately. Less
screaming. We are trying to schedule his bedtimes a little more. He
slept 7 hours straight for the first time last night. Whew. I didn’t
think that would ever happen. So today we brought him out to brunch at
a cafe with us. Very fun times he likes to watch everything when he is
awake now, not just the ceiling textures :)
What a day I’ve had. Way too much fun.
We enjoyed an fun time with my parents for my Dad’s birthday. That cake was incredible, I never get to enjoy as much cake as I would like.
Apparently he couldn’t decide which of grandma’s stuffed animals he liked best.
He started smiling and even laughing in his sleep recently. But, today
he gave us his first real big awake smiles. He is so cute and amazing
and we feel rewarded today.
Sure, he woke us up all night. But, in the morning we get ready to go,
and he looks like this and he starts smiling a little and suddenly I never
want to leave ever again.

Since I had a lot of clothing (and everything else) to re-purchase this year, I took the opportunity to really focus on what I like most about the clothes I want to wear. I like comfort, durability, practicality, with a mid-sized helping of style. Here are some of the interesting items I enjoyed most owning and wearing during the last few months. Apparently I decided that wool was the material for me.
